I've been furniture finisher for a long time (40+ years). I've found that front doors take probably the most abuse over time so extra care in maintaining them is critical. Refinishing front doors needs to be done with care. The best methods and materials are needed. Doors with harsh exposure to sun, heat and moisture need the most attention, but they all eventually break down.
