Omnagen is developing a low cost solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), and associated production techniques
Omnagen has been granted patents for two types of SOFC technology: the use of titanium and titanium alloys in twin chamber solid oxide fuel cells; and the use of substrate supported fuel cells in single chamber solid oxide fuel cells.
We have production techniques for applying thin films to metal substrates, and then etching holes through the substrate to the back of the film; and applying coatings to improve high temperature corrosion resistance of metal substrates.
