The INT - International Nanobiological Testbed Ltd. has been founded to work as a testbed of lab results in the Nanosciences, and mainly in Nanobiology, that may be made through some additional R&D steps in commercial technologies. The first years of activity were spent in promoting the theoretical formulation of novel concepts in dealing with the emerging scientific interest for matter and information on the nanoscale through publication of papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and organization of international meeting and congresses. Quite recently in addition to this track of research mainly concerning very advanced, incubator-type projects, the R&D track was introduced to designing projects leading to nanotech "enabling technologies" featuring also a commercialization potential.
