Listed in both "Who's Who of American Inventors" and "Who's Who of American Musicians", former instructor of Trumpet at Colorado University, the University of Colorado at Denver, Metropolitan State College, Colorado Women's College and the University of Denver (helped to establish the first National Trumpet Symposium there); taught band, orchestra and general music in Colorado for 32 years. Now retired from teaching, acoustician/musician/inventor Novy still performs occasionally in the Denver area.
