About Sparks AYSO Region 166
Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.
The organization is dedicated to youth soccer and, at the Regional level, entirely relies on volunteers for its operation. Sparks Region 166 was established in 1978. Each region is supervised by a Regional Commissioner and
local board of directors - all volunteers. In 2010, there were over 1300 players in the program, from ages 4-18. In 2011, Region 166 will have programs for U5 - U19 in addition to its VIP (kids with special needs) program.
Mission Statement:
To develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies:
Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development
