Fountain of Jacob, Inc. (FOJ) was founded in 2003. What started out as a dream became a reality. The founder experienced domestic violence at an early age and witnessed the continuation of violence among children, women and men. Through research and personal involvement, there seemed to be a greater need to reach the population of individuals that went unreported, underserved and disadvantaged.
The founder felt that there was a greater need to fulfill her dream by opening up a center that would allow individuals that experienced the several volatile actions by referring them to local agencies and other community services that could provide the much needed assistance.
As a result of emotional, physical and mental abuses sustained, most of the victims were left homeless and experienced
