About Alpena Cycle Club
A motorcycle club. We put on motocross races and Garden tractor pulls at the club and area fairgrounds.
The Alpena Cycle Club was formed in 1958. We have been racing ever since. We have done scrambles, enduros, tt races on the 1/2 mile track at the Alpena Fair Grounds. Many years ago we did ice races on lakes and the Alcona track.
For the last 10 years we have been putting on Motocross races and Garden Tractor pulls at our club on Spruce Rd and recently at two area fair grounds.
We average about 130 riders at each motocross. We welcome the beginner and the expert. We run 23 different classes so every one fits in some where.
We average about 30 riders at each Garden Tractor Pull. We have many classes for adults and children. The classes are determined by age and weight of the tractor.
