About For Haiti, with Love, inc.
Christian based charity working in the North of Haiti to feed the poor, heal the sick through free burn clinic and build homes for the homeless.
For Haiti with Love began with the first trip of Don DeHart in the winter of 1968-69 when he went down to build a youth camp that later became an orphanage. He left a part of his heart there and did future work out of his personal pay check. For Haiti with Love was incorporated in Florida in 1982 to invite others to join in the effort.
About 5,000 hungry depend on the food; the clinic has an average of 2,000 patient visits a month for free care for their burns and over 150 families over the years now enjoy the security of their own homes.
