Tribco manufactures the world's first and only 100% KEVLAR fibered composite friction lining for brakes, clutches and other friction applications.
Tribco's unique lining lasts 3 to 5 times longer than other linings and is suitable for both wet and dry friction applications such as clutches, power transmissions, PTOs, torque converters, synchronizers and off-road brakes.
Along with longer wear life, Tribco's lining takes heavier loads, withstands higher temperatures and pressures to deliver higher torque. Tribco's lining also is nonabrasive and won't wear down metal mating surfaces such as flywheels, rotors and drums.
Because it is a 100% KEVLAR fiber/polyimide composite, Tribco's lining is ideal for heavy duty or abusive service. In contrast, many traditional linings such as friction paper contain cotton fibers or less heat resistant phenolic resins that fail in demanding use. Tribco's lining is sold as Braketex and Clutchtex.
