About Lighthouse Rescue Mission
Lighthouse Rescue Mission is a part of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, dedicated to serving the poor and needy in the Treasure Valley, Idaho.
The Lighthouse Rescue Mission is Boise Rescue Mission's center for services in Canyon County. The Lighthouse provides free meals to the community, emergency housing to men, clothing, and showers. The Lighthouse is also home to the New Life Program for men in Nampa, the Mission's twelve to eighteen month rehabilitation program.
This Mission, formerly Holly Nursing Home, was purchased and remodeled in 1999 to serve the growing number of homeless and working poor in the western part of the Treasure Valley. The Lighthouse served over 48,063 hot nutritious meals in 2008, and provided over 17,450 safe nights of shelter.
