I work with a wide range of patients, including children, adolescents, adults and the elderly who are having difficulty functioning and feeling good about their lives. A variety of techniques and theoretical approaches are utilized in therapy, including attachment, developmental, family systems, cognitive-behavioral, and object-relations theories. I carefully match the treatment to the person and problems at hand.
I work with both the individual and the family assisting them in understanding the causes of the symptoms and help the family and the individual in formulating ways of interacting that will not only reduce the symptoms, but ultimately maintain more positive and enjoyable family relationships.
