About Reading & Radio Resource
We are a nonprofit organization that serves anyone who is visually, physically and/or learning disabled by recording print material for their use.
We have a Recorded Books program that has over 3900 titles already recorded or one can request a book to be read. Our Radio Reading Service reads newspapers, magazines, serialized books, self-help and exercise segments with interviews of interesting people or topics. We air 24/7/365. All services are free of charge to individuals.
We have six full-time staff members and over 300 trained volunteers who do the recording. We serve anyone who cannot either hold or read print material and have been certified as print impaired by either a doctor or social worker.
