Pacific Music Enterprises, Inc., was founded by Tadao
"Terry" Terajima in 1971 and has since promoted many
musical artists from various genres in Japan and Asia.
Early concerts began by bringing many traditional Japanese
artists to California, introducing the culture and soul of
Japan to the United States as well as giving Japanese
Americans an opportunity to see some of the biggest artists
from their homeland.
After becoming an established producer and promoter in
California, Pacific Music began promoting concerts in Japan
in the late seventies with artists such as the late Perry
Como, The Manhattan Transfer, as well as Anita Baker,
Patti LaBelle, Kenny Rogers and Gregory Hines in the
eighties.
