FUN! As our economy continues to force families to stay closer to home for vacations and fun, Curwood Festival continues to offer the escape to do so.
Held annually the first full weekend in June, the Curwood Festival team is powered by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors determines policy and oversees every aspect of the organization. Board members are responsible for ensuring that the organization fulfills its mission: "To celebrate the life of author/conservationist, James Oliver Curwood, by organizing, promoting, and conducting family events using the efforts and resources of volunteers, businesses, non-profit organizations and governmental units to enhance the economic and community image of Curwood Country."
