While living in Bogota, Colombia, Ms. Rodriguez received her BA degree in Social Sciences from Universidad Pedagogica Nacional and later a law degree from Universidad Autonoma. She taught in Bogota's high schools from 1982-1991. From 1992-2000, she worked as an attorney and a judge. Since 2003, she has taught as a part-time instructor in Wake Tech. She is a licensed Spanish instructor in North Carolina.
