About THINK Together
California's largest nonprofit provider of academically oriented after-school programs and other educational supports for at-risk youth.
During the 2009-10 School Year, THINK Together provided after-school programs and other educational supports including small group tutoring, early literacy, summer learning and supplemental programs to 50,000 students at more than 200 school and community sites across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties. The organization's programs are predominately provided to the students for free. Revenue comes from state and federal grants and in part from private individuals, companies and foundations. Donald Bren, Irvine Company chairman, is the organization's largest benefactor having committed to contribute at total of $10 million allowing the organization to pilot its school-centered ecosystem approach to educational supports at more than 40 school sites in Santa Ana, CA.
