About Mt. Ashwabay Ski Area
Winter Recreation Facility, including Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, XC Skiing, Tubing, and Snow Shoeing.
Mt. Ashwabay is a community recreation area located on a ridge in the Bayfield peninsula overlooking the Apostle Islands. We are open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from mid December through March.

For December/Holiday hours, please visit our website www.mtashwabay.org. Regular hours begin Jan 1. Please note that the hours listed are the chair lift hours of operations. Our chalet is usually open an hour before and 30 minutes afterwards.
