Mr. Gershenson has been practicing law since 1982. He gives individual attention to each of his clients and attempts to move their cases toward resolution as efficiently as possible. That is more easily accomplished when the opposing lawyer and party are of a mind to be reasonable. When they are not, he is ready, willing, and able to litigate aggressively.
Divorce is a zero-sum game. Dissolving a marriage does not generate new wealth; rather, it siphons off some of the existing wealth to the lawyers and divides what is left between the parties. When the opposing party is being greedy or unreasonable, we must resort to court action in an effort to obtain some measure of justice.
