Portico Architects was founded to provide services to a niche market of smaller town and rural clients who have found working with 'big city architects' a bit difficult to deal with. Although the office is small, we have the ability and know-how to handle ANY size project from simple additions and property surveys, to large scale multi-function/ multiple building projects. We apply the same attention to detail to any size project, and treat our clients with the respect with which we would wish to be treated. Mark D. Lane has a broad background in various project types. He believes in designing projects that will last the test of time. The designs and materials are solid, and lasting. We practice primarily in the Midwest and Great Lakes Region, but believe in being technologically mobile.
