About Lionheart Fencing Academy
LionHeart Fencing Academy is a competitive fencing club for all ages. We train people, young and old, in the art of modern swordplay. En Guard!
Our introductory programs require no initial investment in specialized equipment. State-of-the-art swords, masks and jackets are provided for beginners so they can participate fully in a controlled and safe environment. All our youth program coaches are trained in class management strategies in addition to being excellent fencers. All are fully insured by the United States Fencing Association. Class sizes are small; from 8 to 15 students. Fencing teaches children agility, hand-eye coordination, focus and tactical thinking. At LionHeart we put an emphasis on the long traditions of our sport, including the values of chivalry; discipline, respect for others and courage. Students who have previously avoided traditional team sports find an exciting alternative in this ancient art.
