My name is Hector A. Alaniz, I am the administrator/owner of Laredo Hospice Care. We are an independent Hospice agency licensed in 2009. We are not affiliated with any other healthcare provider and we only provide hospice services to residents in Webb County. In 2009, about 1.56 million people in the United States were under a hospice program. About 2.5 million people died in the United States this same year. Four out of every ten people that died were provided with hospice care at some point during their terminal illness. Sadly, many people in our community never consider this program because they either don't understand it or they have never heard of it. The majority of patient care is provided in the comfortable setting of a patient's home. we stand ready to assist you.
