The Key of A specializes in the reclaiming of all types of authentic keys from the turn of the century - typewriter, cash register, skeleton, pocketwatch, skate, clock and railway switch, and even ivory piano keytops - into beautiful vintage inspired, fashion forward designs. W also salvage other "refound objects" and upcycle them into our designs, all with an eye to the era from which they came. Components are hand picked by us with quality in mind and include chandelier crystals, bullet casings, optician lenses, pen nibs, railway and transit tokens, watch parts, and other interesting pieces.
As a long time artisan and designer, The Key of A's owner brings these years of design and art background into her creations, keeping up with fashion and current trends.
