Formed in April 1993, owner John McCluskey came from a small town in West Texas. John entered the bonding business in 1988 in Dallas, Texas, before opening Action Bail Bonds in Houston. John has a degree in accounting and finance from Texas Christian University and served as one of the founding officers of the Association of Professional Bondsmen of Harris County. Currently, he serves as the president of the Association of Professional Bondsmen of Texas, the Texas State Association.
The Action Bail Bonds office was originally located where the steps of the new Civil Court Building is located, and later moved to the corner of Congress and Caroline, just ninety feet away.
