RMFAC was founded by Mrs. Rose Washington Metzger during the Harlem Renaissance in 1932. Becoming an inspiration and mentor to both her daughter and grandchildren, Rebecca Rose join the studio shortly after graduating from Carnegie-Mell University in 1977. As a team the studio undertook one its first major commissions for Community Legal Services in 1979 and following produced serveral public art works for the City of Philadelphia under the percent for art program. In 1981 Rebecca Rose work was debut in exhibits and in headlines.
The studio completed a portrait for President Jimmy Carter and exhibited at the Carter Museum in Atlanta GA. Impressario Samuel L. Evans commission the artist to do a bronze bust of Kofi Annan Secretary General of the UN. We provide clients with exceptional art
