About Della Terra Montessori School

At Della Terra Montessori School, children are surrounded by developmentally appropriate materials that encourage discovery and foster their natural love of learning. Della Terra also offers enrichment programs that complement the Montessori principles that guide our curriculum. These include music, foreign languages, nature studies, fine art, sports camps, organic gardening, and food preparation.
Our school was founded by an AMS certified primary teacher and is guided by the approach originally developed by Maria Montessori over 100 years ago.
The name Della Terra roughly translates to "From the Earth" in Maria Montessori's native language of Italian. The name serves as a constant reminder of our dedication and love of nature and the world around us.
