Optical Prescription Lab, Inc. (OPL), located in Pelham, Alabama was founded in 1977. As an independent optical laboratory, OPL serves independent eye care professionals across the nation by providing prescription eyeglass lenses. In 2006, OPL became the first independent lab in the southeast to install a Crizal coating facility. Crizal is a leading anti-reflective lens product. OPL offers a full line of Essilor brands, such as Varilux, Transitions and Crizal. Also, OPL manufactures other premium lenses from Hoya, Shamir, Younger Optics, Zeiss and others.
