As Ballet Folklorico Ollin, Isaac and Cathy Shultz-Reyes brings Mexico's history and culture to life through colorful dances, festive music, beautiful costumes and informative narration. From ancient symbolic Aztec dances to the famous Mexican Hat Dance are among the many delights of the program. The audience actively participates learning a Mexican dance and playing the pinata game.
Isaac Shultz-Reyes- Artist-In-Residence
Specializing in Mexican dance and Folk Arts, Isaac offers a wide variety of creative experiences in dance, visual arts, music and folklore in a school residency or workshop format, with hands-on projects including pinatas, papier-mache masks, colorful paper flowers, folk dances, and decorative papel picado. The residency culminates with a colorful Mexican fiesta.
