Provides care to patients requiring long or short term assistance in the privacy of their homes.
SLHHC is locally owned and licensed by the state of Louisiana and certified to provide health care services. The RN will supervise, coordinate, and monitor all phases of the care program ordered by the physicians. Skilled nursing includes, but is not limited to the following: IV therapy, wound care, injections, catheter care, ostomy care, enteral feedings, and PT/INR monitoring. We also provide social workers, home health aides, prescription assistance, physical and occupational therapy. We are easily accessible by having a RN on call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to meet the needs of our patients.
