Based in Asheville, North Carolina, the Foundation's mission is to help the people it serves become better parents, stronger leaders over their own lives, free from various forms of bondage and more productive citizens. Shakanah Renewal Housing ("Shakanah") is a new foundation initiative that will provide transitional housing, substance abuse treatment and recovery, and ex-offender reentry services for adults in the western North Carolina.
