About Helping Hand House
Helping Hand House is dedicated to preventing and ending family homlessness in Pierce County, Washington.
Our mission is met through our homeless prevention program, emergency housing program, transitional housing program, permanent supportive housing program and our new rapid re-housing program. Families with children under the age of 18 and who are homeless or at iminent risk of becoming homeless may be eligible for our services.
All of our programs include Financial Literacy classes, and the housing programs provide extensive case management, life skills classes, and other services tailored to meet the identified needs of the family.
Our overarching goal in all that we do is to empower the families through educaiton and support to become self-sufficient and independent by the time they graduate from our program.

Opening Hours
We are open Monday through Friday 9:00-4:30. We close for holidays and with a small staff occasionally are required to close for an event or work outside of the office for short periods of time. Please call to insure someone will be at teh office.
