Urban Children Connect is a nonprofit charitable agency providing mentoring programs for middle and high school youth The program forms partnerships with local school districts to devote all of its activities to the alleviation of poverty and self-alienation in today???s at risk youth. Our mission is to help prepare these young adults to become productive citizens by providing a work and learning environment where they feel challenged, respected, and accountable as they strive to meet the demands of upcoming adulthood. Our program teaches entrepreneurialism and culinary arts to these at risk youth. Urban Children Connect offers a unique culinary experience, which offers cooking classes to children in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity.
