About Help the Hawaii Homeless
Our mission is the share our love and faith in Jesus as we lift our homeless neighbors from poverty.
As a faith based organization, we believe it is the calling of every person to care for the poor. In this service, the Lord is faithful to provide for his people and heal their land. We know the love of God is what will bring ultimate healing from poverty.
Therefore, it is our vision and purpose to:
¿ Solicit and distribute donations to homeless neighbors in program;
¿ Operate a faith based assistance, job training and procurement, and motivational program for qualified neighbors in/not in residence/shelter;
¿ Operate a community program that encourages homeowners, who are able to, to keep their rent low;
¿ Reunite the homeless with their families and support network;
¿ To create awareness and enable community action to eradicate homelessness in Hawaii.
