Scott Andrew Natvig is a licensed architect who received his his Bachelor of Architecture and his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Minnesota, and his Master of Architecture Degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Before founding Scott Andrew Natvig Design (S.A.N.D) in 2001, Scott worked for the offices of Frank Gehry, Cambridge Seven Architects, Architectural Alliance, Cuningham Group and Mulfinger, Susanka and Mahady. He has worked on teams responsible for projects as diverse as the Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi, The National Art Museum of China, several Oceanariums in Japan, Dublin, and the US Virgin Islands, a Museum of Biodiversity in Panama, a high-rise housing project in Bangkok as well as a variety of commercial and residential projects in California, Arizona, the US Virgin Islands, Minnesota, and New York.
He has been on several design teams that have placed as finalists for competitions including, the National Art Museum of China, the Fukushima Aquarium in Japan, and the Charlotte Amalie Waterfront project in St Thomas, USVI.
Scott was a professor of Architectural Design for several years at the Boston Architectural College, and has been published in Harvard Magazine.
