About Jackson Haverly MD
The ADHD Center of Seattle specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, understanding and empowerment of adults and adolescents living with ADD/ADHD.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist who was diagnosed with ADHD in 1994 just as the medical community was becoming aware that ADHD wasn't just a condition of childhood. Since then treating ADHD in adults and adolescents has become my specialty (also called my 'hyperfocus'). I began attending the National Adult ADD Conferences in 1996 and have developed associations with several of the leading experts who have become my mentors, advisors and friends. I pull from their experience and share their knowledge with my patients.
A major focus in my work is medications - which are only a part of the solution. But being on the right medication, at the right dose, taken at the right time can really help and they can also help other interventions have a greater chance of success.
