Here you will find superbly polished, designer, freeform and traditional shape cabochons for jewelry artists. I individually hand cut and polish almost all the items listed in my shop. The cabochons are wet polished using diamond up to 100,000 mesh for brilliant finishes. Only Opals and Turquoise are buffed with 'Zam' for a final shine. Occasionally I purchase cabochons for resale. Often I re-cut and or re-polish these stones, but regardless of the amount of work I put into them, they are listed as 'commercial' since I did not do all the work on these items. Whether you are a metalsmith who likes classic uniform slightly angled edges for bezel setting or you are a wire wrapper who prefers straight flat edges - you will find examples listed in the shop.
