Scooter Cape, LLC was formed in 2008. The owner, Sandra Merritt, a scooter rider herself, found that when returning to her scooter at the end of the day, the seat and dash would sometimes be wet from rain, dirty, or scalding hot from the sun's rays. She wanted to create a product that would prevent these things, but was also easy-to-use, easy-to-store, and affordable.
Other covers on the market today are geared toward long-term storage. They are heavy, expensive, and bulky to store.
The Scooter Cape folds down to pocket-size and can easily be stored in the seat or rear compartment. It takes only three easy steps to put the cover on and is designed to stay on even in stormy, windy weather! It's adjustable to fit snug and it's machine washable!
