About East-End Multi-Cultural Center For The Arts
EMCCA is a non-profit (501c3) working for positive change in the East-end of Houston through the Arts, Education and Sports. All services are free.
EMCCA utilizes art, sports and education to help participants learn how to express themselves in an appropriate non-violent manner. These skills lead to less crime. Youth often face difficult choices. The arts teach creative problem solving skills that build self-confidence and self-discipline. Participation in the arts and in team sports are central to a youth's individual and social development. Art and Sports nurture a child's development by:
