About AAA Pool Service
The owners of AAA Pool Service, Harry and Pat Downes, are the second and third generations of their family to be in the swimming pool industry.
The owners of AAA Pool Service, Harry and Pat Downes, are the second and third generations of their family to be in the swimming pool industry. Harry's father, Mat Downes, was an engineer by trade who started a small swimming pool service company on the North Shore in the early 1960's. Harry came to work with him, along with his brothers, when they were just kids. He worked with his father and brother until the late 1990's when he branched off and created AAA Pool Service, Inc.
At this time, Pat was attending high school at Glenbrook North in Northbrook. He worked part-time with his dad over the summers until graduating college from the University of Illinois in 2003. After graduation, Pat knew he wanted to join the family business full time and go to work with his dad.
