About Kansas City Young Audiences
Kansas City Young Audiences mission is to engage all youth in the arts, promote creativity and inspire success in education.
Kansas City Young Audiences partners with 200 professional teaching artists to bring arts based educational programs to area schools, libraries and community centers. Interactive workshops, residencies, and highly engaging performances delight and educate more than 170,000 children each year.
In addition, our Community School of the Arts offers children an opportunity to take classes and camps in multiple art forms: dance, music, theatre and visual arts. Dance classes include beginning and intermediate levels of tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and all levels of ballet. Multiple theatre and acting classes and camps are available for all ages and skill levels. Private lessons and several levels of Garage Bands are also available.
