Affinity Massage Studio in Cincinnati. Specializing in Ashiatsu deep tissue barefoot massage, warm bamboo massage, therapeutic and prenatal massage.
Owner Mary-Claire Fredette completed massage training in 1998 and is licensed for massage by the state of Ohio medical board. She is the only therapist in the United States who teaches both Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (deep tissue barefoot massage) and Bamboo-Fusion (massage with warm bamboo tools.)
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy - luxurious deep tissue massage. Because the heel and ball of the therapist's foot is used instead of thumbs or elbows, the massage is deep but very comfortable. Parallel bars overhead provide support for the therapist, and the client lies on a massage table.
Ashi-Thai is another style of barefoot massage where the therapist stretches the client, who wears clothing.
Warm bamboo massage-amazingly relaxing. Certified in prenatal massage therapy.
