What is Upper Cervical? Upper cervical means the top of the neck. The Atlas (C1) and Axis (C2) are the most often used vertebrae to gently reposition the head relative to the body. This correction creates a "domino" effect in the downward direction (with gravity). Brain to body communication is restored and the body begins to heal itself.
Upper cervical adjustments relieved my chronic pain, and I noticed related improvements in my mood, energy, and posture (body balance). Regular checkups made sure the process of healing progressed. Upper cervical care is different because it is much more comfortable to lie on your side like you are taking a nap, and receive a precise correction. The procedure is so light, at first I thought that nothing was done.
