About Seattle Jewish Chapel Funerals
SJC is a full service funeral home and caters to all of the greater Seattle Jewish community who want their loved ones prepared in traditional style.
Bikur Cholim-Machzikay Hadath (BCMH) synagogue owns and operates the Seattle Jewish Chapel (SJC) funeral home. The Seattle Jewish Chapel (SJC) operates out of the Mel Wolf Memorial Tahara facility. The Seattle Chevra Kadisha operates out of the Tahara facility, providing such services as Shomer (guarding) of the deceased and Tahara (ritual washing). The Seattle Jewish Chapel handles all the details around the passing of a loved one, from the initial time of death through the completion of the funeral. In addition, SJC provides pre-arrangement services for those interested in pre-planning for their funeral.
Seattle Jewish Chapel and Bikur Cholim-Machzikay Hadath own and operate the Bikur Cholim (1340 North 115th) and Machzikay Hadath (1214 North 167th) cemeteries.
