Carlton Cabinets was started by Terry Carlton in 1960 in Lemon Grove. Ray Carlton, Terry's son, who began working at Carlton Cabinets at the age of twelve, purchased the business in 1995. Carlton Cabinets moved to a larger location in 2007. Ray Carlton has well over 30 years designing, building, finishing and installing custom cabinets throughout the San Diego region.
